Average players with no passion swanning around to other clubs trying to massage their egos. I applaud any any manager who won't accept it.
As for Shannon hibs and the youth approach. Looking at the teams in 1a this season it's the wrong time to have a weak spine to the team. Shannon town build a strong powerful side and add in the footballers. Hibs go for over haul and make too many changes too soon.
Having young lads is fine but I wonder now that most of them are at the age will they be going to college and finding the drink interest could soon be down the drain if they have a bad start.
Well if they get in a few heads old git, the likes of Bj Cantillon, Pa Devanny and even heard Paul Cantillon is thinking of joining them after a long layoff and maybe 2-3 others you'd have to fancy them to do alot better this year.

gaiscíoch Hibs go for over haul and make too many changes too soon? What do you mean by this? Do agree with you about going college and drink though but to be fair isn't that the same for all Shannon people?

no joking. if these club hoppers stayed in the one place for more than a half season they might build a team spirit and actually improve. it sucks for club men to think they might have a team wurth watching then watch lads head off somewhere else at the last minute

Both Shannon teams are in 1a aren't they. Have you got anything to say about any other 1a team or do you just not like what you are reading?

Pike B have 2 wins and a draw from 3 friendlies in the last 10 days.

All of our squad will feature along with several A players tomorrow in the Patrick O' Halloran Tournament held at the Pike Rovers Sports Grounds.
Come along and support what should be a great day.
