    City of Culture City Shirts

Great idea by the club to have a competition to design next seasons jerseys..not only does it mean the end to the current horrible one but it means that the chances of having a very nice looking jersey for next season are increased dramatically...also the prize found of 2,005 is not bad also....What do people think???

    I like the current shirt
I'm not convinced that a fan can design a better one, but I will be entering.
Already have a cunning plan, all I need is a rat.

I see one of the rules is that you must have a connection to Cork, to stop anyone hijacking it . Definitely entering this for the laugh!!

I'm not considering this as an entry because I imagine they're looking for shirt with some sort of design on it but this is the type of thing I'd like to see us wear.
Don't think I've ripped off any other clubs design but no doubt someone will pull me up on it.

On the tag of this years jerseys there is a style expiry date, thought the jersey covered next season too.

2005 greenbacks ...... Sheeze ..... couldn't be shaking too many sticks at that.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

It's open to pro's too though, A Face.
You'd need a graphics programme of some decent standard to get a design of quality onto that little shirt.
    Still, no harm in trying.

That's good, nice shade of green. The Nissan symbol looks a bit outta place though, I think the writing looks better!!

    Stop the press!

Check out the response to my question about the colour the club desire for the jersey on corkcityfc.ie. It says they will be still using this years jersey again next season, so it seems like the competion is to design an away jersey.

    It's all very unclear!

Reading the thing again, it probably will be worn just for the culture cup. But, I presume the club still has a preference for what colour they want the jersey to be. Should it be mainly green, red or white?
