Warren hits six as Mons put to the sword
Cobh Ramblers gained revenge (and a bit more) for their defeat at Century Homes Park in June as they hit Monaghan United for eight at St. Colman's Park last night.
Dave Warren hit a stunning six goals, a hat-trick in each half as Ramblers demolished Monaghan. Warren had already won the match-ball by the 20th minute. He then set up Robert Brosnan to make it 4-0 on the half hour.
Warren hit his fourth ten minutes into the second half. Stephen Yelverton made it 6-0 with just over ten minutes remaining.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Fair play to ya Wozza. Delighted to hear the boys destroyed monaghan. Here's hoping that this is the start of a run until the end of the season. The squad is strong now and if we are capable of beatin any team 8-0, then surely we can beat the majority of teams in the league.
