Hail Caesar.
Just posting this here in case there are those who would like to pay their respects to a legend of Cork football, and the first man to deliver a league title to Cork City in 1993.
Luckily he got to make the recent 20th anniversary celebrations. May he rest in peace, he will not be forgotten.
It really puts things in perspective.
Removal tomorrow at 6.15 from Turner's Cross church to Ballyphehane.

Noel O’Mahony RIP
Everyone at Cork City Football Club was deeply saddened to hear of the death of our former manager Noel O’Mahony.
Noel was the first manager to win the League of Ireland Premier Division title in the club’s history, and joined his players and backroom staff at Turner’s Cross only two weeks ago as the club celebrated the twentieth anniversary of that title win.
A Leeside sporting legend, Noel will be sadly missed and the club wishes to express our sincerest condolences to his family and many friends.
May he rest in peace.
(Noel is pictured above with Fergus O’Donoghue at the function to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of our first league title in 1992-93.)
Hail Caesar.
"Must you tell me all your secrets when it's hard enough to love you knowing nothing."
