Delegate Meeting and Special General Meeting
A Delegate meeting will be held on this coming Monday night July 16th at 7pm at Mounthawk Park to be followed at 8.30pm by a Special General Meeting which is being held to update the Rule Book, to include changes made at recent AGM’s. It is possibly the most important meeting in recent times so all clubs are asked to ensure they have their full compliment of delegates present. Clubs will received the proposed rule updates and necessary changes during the week by post.

The structure of the first three divisions has been finalised, with 1B, 2A and 2B to be ironed out later. There's at least one new club, with Tralee side Valley Wanderers joining the League.

Anyone got any views on this season to come, League Winners, Relegation Candiates, Cup Winners. Who could do well in Munster Competitions and Fai Junior Cup. So far in Premier A new Managers from last season have been appointed to the following teams, Castleisland, Killarney Celtic, Killarney Athletic, Dingle Bay Rovers, Listowel Celtic. Be good to hear any views people have out their.

Anyone got info on any new singings by teams for the coming season or if players have left clubs. I have heard that Kevin Mccarthy has moved from Tralee Dynamos to Listowel Celtic . St Brendans Park have lost David Conway who emigrated to Canada. Have also heard that Joe Sheehy could be moving to England so would be a big loss for Dingle Bay Rovers if this is true.

Tralee dynamos were in the Kerry league aswell last season and played in division 1B (4th division ) and gained promotion to division 1A for this season . They will be too strong for nearly every team in that division and should easily gain promotion again this season .

What a joke to put Dynamos in the 3rd division. Everyone knows that they should be in the Premier A. The FAI scraped the A championship and now Dynamos have to go back and take the position of their B team in Kerry junior soccer. The best thing for eveyone was to but Dynamos back into the top division where they belong full stop. The Kerry league are punishing them because they promoted the game in Kerry and gave players in Kerry a chance to play LOI soccer. From what I know players from most of the big clubs played for them in the LOI as the represented the county. Sad..

Kerry League starts this weekend with 6 divisions and nearly 60 teams, but only 17 matches being played. Not a great start to the new season .Premier A has 4 matches, Premier B has 2 matches, Division 1A has 3 matches, Division 1B has 2 matches while both Division 2A and 2B had 3 matches each. Probably over 20 teams not playing on the first weekend.

" From what I know " .......its obvious from your previous posts that you are a Dynamos fan and know a bit about the ins and outs of the club . Personally I think that Dynamos belong in the top flight but I think they made a big mistake years ago pulling out their Premier A team instead of their Second team in the Kerry District league especially as the FAI announced that the A Championship was coming to an end . Hopefully Dynamos can maybe refocus and plan for long runs in the FAI and Munster Junior cups and keep their ambition and re apply for the LOI next year again.

By all accounts Listowel to be dark horses this year . People are expecting Killarney Celtic to bounce back but easier said than done . Hopefully those youth players from two years ago will shine for them this year .
