thats probably the best post on behan so far. the number of people going " ah no, he's ****e" etc when he came on was unreal. The guy has never got a decent run in the team. Definitely worth a go ahead of flynn right now

if denis can reproduce even 50 per cent of his under 21 form, he'll be the best striker in the league. he just needs a run of starts to build his confidence
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

I'd agree that his u-21 form is outstanding. I've been very critical of him in the past, but he was a 1000% improvement on Flynnie the other night, he looked very sharp and a run of games could be just what he needs. If Dolan starts J O'F ahead of him against Longford, he (Dolan) should be kicked all the from the Cross to Richmond park...

I think Behan should definately start against Longford. He was brilliant when he came on and showed just how bad Flynny was on the night.

I do feel sorry for Flynny though as someone said he looked gutted to miss the peno and just shook his head and stood there when the rest of the lads were celebrating. If he's dropped for the next game I don't think he'll feature much more for the rest of the season because his little bit of confidence will be dashed.Although he hasn't looked confident for awhile now and Dolan picks him week after week,so I don't know.

Doyler was outstanding friday night and worth the 10 euro on his own performance. He should have had a hat-trick easy.

I'd give flynny a run in the U21's. Perhaps scoring a few for fun will wet his appetite and build up his confidence. At present he is a shadow of the player he was 2 years ago
