Are we that good that we can even give our opponents the advantage of an extra player?Originally Posted by Eh Weh
weve got the tried and trusted 4-4-2 or what about4-5-1? With the 4-4-2 id have Given in goal, Carr right back, OBrien and Cunningham in the Centre, and probably O'Shea left back, what about Kilbane in the left back role though? On the right of mid, Finan for stability, Keane and Kavanagh in the centre, and Duff left, with Morrison and Keane upfront. See if we play defensively we are asking for the French to attack us, that is their strongest position. There defence and keeper dont seem to be the best, why not attack them and expose their weaknesses. In the 4-5-1 we could have a very combative centre midfield with Keane, Kilane and Kavanagh and Duff and Reid on the flank with Keano upfront?

Are you a ref, Eirebhoy?
3-5-1 hehe
I would go for 4-3-3 tbh against the likes of the faroes and the french but with different players. I wont post the same stuff twice : -
