Don't look like scoring at all.
Sligo are going to need to push on for this at some stage. Putting no pressure on the Molde defence when they have the ball.
Don't look like scoring at all.
You've got no fans.
Was going to say Molde don't look like scoring either, but then they did. Oh well.
C'mon Derry...
Game over. That stiker (Chuku) has been bullying Sligo's entire back line all night.
Sligo are so unambitious under Baraclough. His objective appears to have been to keep the score down rather than trying to win the tie.
So that's four games in Europe under Baraclough that Sligo has failed to score in? this display is incredibly disturbing for whatever reason.
This Molde side are bang average. They're physically better and technically not bad but they're actually fairly clueless.
Sligo need to be asking questions about Baraclough if they finish this season without a title challenge. He took them on to the next level from where Cook could, but he looks to be dismantling all of that hard work this season, and for what?
Djilali you stick!
Awful miss there right at the end to cap it all off.
That was very disappointing from Sligo. Expected a bit more urgency than that.
Don't suppose anyone has a working stream of the Celtic-Cliftonville game? Just getting streams of Mastermind...
I only saw them on TV and when they came to Tallaght during the first round, but even then they looked tactically pretty poor. Once Elding was found out and started kicking everything that moved, they've looked a shadow of that team. I suspect teams during the first round of games were just so shocked to be facing such un-Sligo football that they were unprepared for the set-piece dominance. By the second round, everybody was prepared for it.
And Bray. And Derry. And Pat's. And...
We will win nothing this year, we are a shadow of last years team, unless of course Djilali continues to improve and Cretaro brings some spark on his return, but its hard to see.
It was hard for Peers to play centre back and try and push forward as a midfielder, to build up possession, whilst covering Chuku. I thought Peers did well throughout.
McMillan, in particular, was exposed against a pacy and mobile striker.
Gaynor is not and never was a defender - didn't put in one tackle. His poor performance in Europe last year cost us the away tie, how he is back as left back is beyond me. We really missed Dav.
It was upfront where we were really impotent - 60 mins for Elding and McMillan again out of position!
Djailli played well - but what was the point of busting down the right when there was no body in the box. Keane gave it his all but his poor clearance resulted in 2nd Molde goal. Joey had a mare and Cawley and Lynch, Conneelly were hardly at the races.
There is little point dissecting what Baraclough will do from here, heavens only knows!
I just hope that we can sustain a league tilt, so roll on Shams. But sadly, the brand of football we play at the moment is dull and negative.
We are neither fish nor fowl, footballing-wise. How I now really miss the Cookie days - even if we never won title under him - it was a pleasure to go to the Showgies. We have regressed over the last two years and I don't think Bara is the man to bring this group on - so it all remains to be seen.
Local radio presenters applauded players for acknowledging the €500 flight-package tourists who supported them - the very least they could do seeing as they're travelling back on the same plane!
Best of luck to Derry - their game v Trab was such a much more exciting match than both our drab and dour Europe encounters.
