City boss calls for more support for final stretch

CITY BOSS Ger Bickerstaffe has called on supporters to raise their voices for the final stretch of league season 2004.
“Considering the only way was up, I believe the lads have done quite well this season,” said the Cats’ manager.
“But after two unlucky results in our second and third games in round three of the Eircom League I am determined that things should improve further.
“It would be nice to see more bodies supporting the players. They give their all and a bit more support from the stands would certainly be appreciated.
“Saturday’s game against Bray should be a real cracker and it would be brilliant to hear the Kilkenny roar above the Wicklow visitors.”
