But we seemed to get all the 40/60s, and the advantage rule meant nothing to him. Good fun!
Yep he was truly awful, blatant handball after a UCD player cleared off the line and a very questionable off side for a disallowed goal. He decided to even things out by giving Bohs a series of corner kicks without the apparent involvement of any of the UCD players.Now that was a refereeing performance to complain about.

Very poor 'crowd' witnessed a shocking display by so called ref. To be fair UCD deserved the win but Jeeez Sutton was cluless. Interestingly, I watched the lino after the hand ball claim (as I could not believe he had not seen it) and it appeared he was only signalling offside. a number of fouls happened literally feet from him and he did not flag, amazing at Premier level.
Big three points for UCD (who must love Dublin Derbies) and Bohs well and truely into the relegation dogfight.
For the record, on the handball incident - the first I'm fairly sure (having checked the video) was chested away. The second - the best you can say is that the ball bounced up so quickly that our player didn't have a chance to move his arm. But it certainly hit his arm, and in any event, the ref said that he didn't see it (as opposed to calling it accidental)
The free in the last minute that Bohs had their last chance from was given for handball which was just never handball. And yeah, there were loads of calls like that. But I think it just about makes up for every ridiculous decision Bohs have gotten against us, from the red card in Dalymount at the start of the season to Wayne Russell not being sent off around 2000 for blatant handball outside the box, to everything in between.

Crikey , remembering dodgy decisions from circa 2000 in a league where there are 3/4 per game? that really is a large chip on your shoulder (Burdocks would be proud of it). Ref last night was crap over all - for both sides. Bohs were very poor on the night and did not deserve anything from the game irrespective of the refs performance (for want of a better term) UCD Marginally better side over 90 mins (incidentally ref player 44 mins 45 seconds in first half according to a UCD fan at the game with me)
