Randolph with a brain fart dash off his line to cost Brum a goal at Millwall.

Another clean sheet for Stephen Henderson tonight against Norwich too. 4 clean sheets in 9 games and only 6 goals conceded overall, should have Randolph looking over his shoulder.

Never really rated Randolph and he is awfully prone to a few shockers now and again. Henderson is surely a better option for the squad at the minute?

That article that TOWK refers to, and specifically the bit about the Germans and their assimilation of non-German born players into the squads. In relation to Poldi und Klose, both of these guys were born in very Germanic areas of Poland, you could just about stretch to say their the equivalent of being born in Derry or Armagh if they were Irish. Both of their fathers were confirmed Aussiedier's, again similar to the GFA.
Also in Poldi's case, his family moved to Germany when he was very young, so not only did he feel GErman, he actually contributed to German society in Germany before being selected for the various national teams.

The German example O'Neill references is a poor one, for a smart man, considering the more obvious one would be the reverse of that trend in Germany, whereby German born Turks, such as Basturk (remember him) declaring for Turkey, even though his parents were also German born Turks, making him a 3G effectively.
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!

Randolph conceded eight goals today as Birmingham lost 8-0 to Bournemouth. The score-line matched the club's record defeat.

Watching Wolves - Birmingham on Sky, and Randolph is keeping City in it. Their defence is absolutely horrific, if Wolves had a better striker they'd be well ahead in this.

Randolph awarded MOTM, was only half paying attention to the end of the game, think the commentator said it was his first clean sheet in thirteen games

    <EDIT>

stat was repeated at the end of the game - it's only the second clean sheet for Birmingham in 32 (thirty-two!!) games

Ah, that was pretty straight forward. But who does he have to apologise to? Darren?

No, credit where it's due. If he plays well fair dos to him. I have been watching Randolph ever since Sean McCaffrey said he had everything you want in a keeper but I have been expecting this top quality keeper to emerge since then and ever since I have been disappointed. A howler at Turners Cross against England U21s, beaten at near post, taking a step sideways just before a free is taken, basic stuff often. His error on the last day of last season was every bit as bad as Keogh's at Wembley but only a late comeback prevented it being an error that got his team relegated.

Unless I missed some humour or sarcasm in your post I'd say I owe Randolph an apology every bit as much as you owed Keogh one when he was MOTM for Derby last season.

I have no axe to grind against Randolph. I'd love to see him step up a gear and I'd love to see him prove me wrong but I think he is error prone and subject to questionable judgment based on nearly a decade of watching him, not one game.

Colin Doyle should have been a great keeper too, but I'd observe similar failings.

Edit: I did miss the humour, or at least I suspected it was there but couldn't be sure. Point taken / joke taken

When Keogh was MOTM last season? He was MOTM 46 times?

Derby had the best goalscoring record in the division last season and the worst defensive record of the top 6 teams - the latter, ultimately, the difference between promotion. I'd say their attacking players won a fair few of those MOTM awards.

There was one televised game late in the season when Keogh was MOTM, no?

I didn't pay much attention to him earlier in the season because you don't been so vocal about him.

Who needs football feeds when we have TOWK.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.

Judging by the way he ran down his last two contracts to make a jump forward, I wouldn't bet on him signing a new Birmingham deal. Then again, they might end up being dark horses for promotion if they can maintain their current form.

Premier League interest in "outstanding" Randolph.
