Byrne hopeful of Millwall chance

St Patrick’s Athletic defender Des Byrne remains hopeful of recommencing his career across the water, with Millwall the latest club to be linked with the former youth international left back.

Byrne returned to Ireland to join the Saints earlier this year, but has made no secret of his desire to forge a career in England in the future.
