Bohs pish poor tonight v an unsensational Dundalk side.Dundalk gk Cherrie was hardly troubled and our defence ate everything put in front of them
Dundalk are 4/4 in Dublin for the season(1981 last time),we might move up there

Richie Towell potm.(by 2 irish miles)
He didn't score Dundalk's 2nd by the way,his strike was clearly deflected to goal vis Lopes.

Next week it's Cork in front of the cameras, hopefully we can end our poor(ish) home form against them.

Against derry we conceded in the 90th minute
Against rovers we conceded in the 94th minute
Against drogheda we conceded in the 88th minute
Against shelbourne we conceded in the 94th minute

Take away those goals and we would be third in the table

Nor conceding goals will do that alright.

It's undoubtedly a managerial problem. We drop extremely deep and look very nervous not just at the end of games but as soon as we score.

We are going to lose money now whatever happens... crowds down if Dunne stays which will hit the pocket.

No great surprise in Inchicore. Been playing pretty crap all season and have a terrible record there. Hope we can get through the next 3 league games still top and get our act together when our easier run of games starts.

Raf supposedly out for a month.

Ndo has to come back into that team the moment he's physically fit to play.

Think our defence is solid enough and the rest of the team of Ventre/Cawley, Ndo, Lynch, Raf, Greene and Elding/North will keep us there or thereabouts.

Not a red (or if it is Brennan should have gone twice followed by Ventre) and not a penalty but made no difference whatsoever.

    Pats hungrier and better

Harps pretty poor again last night, but 3 points on the board and back on track. Happy enough. Crowds remaining decent, and that can only help matters too.
Big game against Waterford next week.

Says a lot about the standard of most of the teams Sligo have beaten.... Including us!

You clearly weren't watching Tommy on the sideline so, absolutely berating the players trying to get them to push out.

You can only blame the manager for so much. The players are the one's that have consistently bottled it!

Wasn't the best of performances from us but a wins a win! Had to laugh at a few Athlone supporters beside us giving Brilly a hard time and calling him a mammy's boy and them not long out of nappies themselves! The oldest out of the few of them was 12 at most.

buck stops with the manager who signed those players and puts the team out. He says he knows what's happening when we concede late goals, why has nothing changed so? Same selections in midfield consistently where players are giving the ball away and losing concentration.

Dunne can't have his cake and eat it. If we were scoring late on he'd be taking the plaudits for motivating the team to keep going in matches.

What Athlone fans are you referring to exactly. I certainly hope you're not on about the ones singing behind the goal. Because the youngest there was 16 and the majority were 22-30.

Excellent win by Limerick. It'll be interesting to hear the report on their performance as well. Not a bad start to their season that they're positioning themselves ahead of their Munster rivals in the table.
