KO is 3.55 - so game should be over around 5.40 or so, maybe slightly after. Last train back is at 6pm. Gonna be cutting it fine and I hope you're right about 10 mins!
You will make it comfortably if you leave at 545 just have your exit planned. There was a train at 7pm until recently, pity you could have had two pints in Rafterys before you got on the train.

The train station in Waterford is just over 3 km from the RSC so you could walk it or get a bus or taxi to the ground. There's no late train leaving Waterford so not much use unless you are staying overnight for a game.

Yet you fail to mention the +2hr trip around the north coast to get the train into Derry from Belfast. Get the bus, it's quicker, handier, and doesn't involve any extended stay in the Waterside.
i believe in one man, one vote. i should be that one man with that one vote.

    ALWAYS ON TOUR!

Yep! Bit of a dash to the station but it can be done in 10 mins or just less.

Just to drag this back up, is the train the best option to get to drogheda and back tomorrow, or is the bus cheaper? Looks like we will have 20ish mins to dash back to train station, would probably be leaving it a bit too tight judging by previous comments!

If you jogged it you'd make it, walking though it'd be very tight.

A common theme in this thread seems to be the unsuitablility of train times around evening games, then again Irish rail would be the last people I'd have running a network in this country!

IN fairness, most LOI clubs bring less 100 to away games so planning public transport around them isn't really an option
