Fourth-placed Kildare County realise they can afford no further slip-ups if they are to have any chance of bridging the gap on the top three in the final nine games of the season, starting with tonight’s visit of Cobh Ramblers to Station Road.

On the face of it, there could be much more difficult opponents for Eric Hannigan’s side.
