adblock plus bar at bottom of browser

I had to uninstall and reinstall adblock plus a few days ago, and I've noticed that the bar that used to appear at the bottom of the browser window, which allowed me to disable adblock on a particular site or page, is no longer visible.

If I go to adblock's options, I have options to disable everywhere, count filter hits, etc, and at the bottom, 'show in add-on bar'. The box is unticked/unclicked, and even when I click on it, nothing happens.

    Any suggestions?

Hit Alt to show the menu, then View > Toolbars > Add-on Bar. I don't bother with it personally, I put AdBlock on the main toolbar: right-click on the toolbar, choose Customise, then find the AdBlock icon and drag it to where you'd like it.
