What's the St. Paul chant?
"We love you Jesus, we do!"
Are any clubs still doing it?
I'm watching USA-Costa Rica now and it's just reminded me of the abomination that is the 'We Love You' chant. I actually moved from my usual spot on the Main Stand a couple of years ago just to avoid away fans doing it, though to be fair on the one occasion I reneged the Cork City fans didn't do it. I was kind of hoping it had died a slow death.

we still do the we love you chant, not as much though
Awful chant isn't it I prefer the sectarian ones Shams brought to Linfield, you feel right proud to be an Irish man when you hear that singing.
Nobody's defending sectarian chanting so I don't know where you're getting that from.
This is all I hear in my head when I hear that chant, 1:33 in.
Judge not, that ye be not judged. *For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.*.
What I meant to say was this, but it wasn't till the free Presbyterians called to me house that I got it out.
Nobody's judging anyone. I'm saying it's a crap chant. So are sectarian chants. Now feel free to crawl back under the rock you came from. Or don't, I don't really care.
This thread is becoming as bizzare as the Longford Town news one not so long ago!! S*hits on a bus, sectarian chants, gay viddgeos and loads of rants.Keep the winning thread alive,no off topic chat here!
I hate this song, cringe when I hear our fans singing it. It's very...ghey.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
I am rockless somebody threw it at a bus.
