I know this - was planning on going to it otherwise. But surely the pitch doesn't get torn up, shouldn't stop Drogs.

Oriel remains Category 2 to the best of my knowledge, which is good enough to host underage internationals and the first two preliminary rounds of the Europa League.

As far as I know, it is available to them should they choose to use it.

Drogheda were very accommodating to Dundalk when the Oriel Park pitch was being redeveloped.

Oriel Park has 3,000 seats which is more suitable than Tallaght to the crowds Drogheda would be likely to attract.

In addition, it is only 20 minutes from Drogheda and they would be likely to get more neutrals from Louth to watch the games.

It'll be interesting to see how Sligo-Limerick goes tonight. I think O'Leary in midfield will be a big loss for Limerick, and Sligo are clear favourites but I wouldn't be rushing out to back them at 1/2...it's not impossible that Limerick could nick something.

Tom King is too good for the First Division and Mervue in particular. If he was willing to leave Galway there'd be plenty of teams after him.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

Waterford are self-destructing. They really miss Maguire.

I only just noticed that Derek O'Brien is playing for Salthill these days... surprised he's bothered, can't be much in it for him!

Ahrggg two mins into injury time in first half Limerick concede should give sligo a lift. Elding is a monster when north is fit them two will cause mayhem for defenses
