    Firewire - USB lead

    Does such a creature exist?? Anyone know where i can get me hands on one.

    I doubt it, because they're completely different animals. However if anyone has it, Belkin will.

    You would be much better off getting a firewire card for your computer - especially if its a desktop machine.

    I saw a USB to IDE patch somewhere last week.
    Basically you can lamp an IDE device onto it and stick the USB into your machine. Great for scanning corrupt hard disks on a good machine.
    The Firewire to USB doesn't make enough sense for someone to produce one though.
    Good advice from Jim there.

    Apple have one for use with the ipod, not sure if it works with other stuff though.
