Nice to have clubs interested in him, Leicester are Premiership and Derby are a
Championship side on the up. He is only 28.

Quinn may have played his way into Bruce's plans with his match turning performance against QPR.

Yes he provide a good corner which was headed in he also played a lovely ball to put Ince through for a good scoring chance.
Most seem to be going for Chester on the grounds he scored but lots of praise for Quinn
"Quinn - Transformed our midfield offensively when he came on. Has to stay."
It would be very harsh for Bruce to leave him out next match, but don't think he would be that daft.

"Breaking up the play in the centre of the pitch, Quinn frustrated the Potters and hurried the likes of Glenn Whelan and Steven N'Zonzi into making mistakes."

However, even he approves of English players playing for us.

I don't love Stephen Quinn. I wouldn't have had him in the team for the Georgia game. And nobody loves a stick to beat Trapattoni with more than me but Quinn wasn't playing at a high enough level to play under him. Why would I love that article? It's somber.

"It's part of football". It's not exactly a glowing endorsement is it? It's a diplomatic thing to say. If I was a professional footballer I wouldn't be saying half of what I say on this forum because footballers are taught to speak in platitudes.

There are plenty of people in the game who are on both sides of the fence.

And where in that article did Quinn apologise to Grealish for calling him a "fake paddy"? He denied it.

Grealish should really start learning to exercise his brain to mouth filter. There is no logic in bringing that up - and fanning the fire - whether it happened or not.

The fourth paragraph was directed towards Dion Fanning, not gastric.

Bit of an indictment of Quinn that he wasn't even aware that Grealish is part of our under-21 set-up and is one of the best players there. At least he would have played with/against Brady and Hendrick at Championship level. That might have saved him a blush when he entered the squad himself.

EDIT: He comes across so well in the first article. Determined man. Great to see him getting the chances under O'Neill.

"I have played in some big games in the past. I have got play-off finals under my belt, an FA Cup final, Premier League games, they are all big games but this has probably been my biggest personal level, for my family. Because I love playing for my country, it is the most important thing to me. People pull out of squads or whatever, but this is the pinnacle of your career so yes, it is emotional now. I am just glad we got the win and I just want to keep performing."

Before hearing the team, he had also been present for a team meeting with O'Neill delivering the address he had waited nearly 10 months to give.

"It was a powerful meeting to be honest with you. It was quiet, he is softly spoken, but when he talks you listen, because you need to, because he is softly spoken. The hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Him and Roy have been waiting for this for nine months. We had meetings every day about Georgia. He is a really intelligent manager, really, really intelligent, and to have Roy Keane in there as well, they have so much experience. His talk before we got on the coach was inspiring and I think it inspired everybody. That is why we have a really tight squad unit here now after nine months."

And I really love your knockers,I'm a labourer by day,
I **** up all me pay,Watching footy on TV,

Jeez, imagine how cr@p that'd have played without the rallying call.

Seriously, though, that's good to hear. I want to know we have a tight group of hungry players desperate to win every game, and I want to hear that O'Neill legendary motivation skills are in action.

Understandable one, down to the last few mins, Hull pushing forward for the equaliser,
Quinn was the last defender and he was going to be beaten by the bounce leaving a 1 on 1 for Leicester,
so he did a sneaky hand-ball but didn't get away with it. Could have been game over if he didn't so
he had to really. At least he kept Hull in the game for the last minute, they still lost though, Hull a bit
unlucky they had a few chances in the second half.

    Nope not of those work.

I could re upload it to youtube but I fear I might get done for copyright.

Anyhow, I used to be able to capture whatever was displayed on the screen using
VLC player, however after the last upgrade that no longer works, which really p*ssed
me off. Had I know I would not have done the upgrade.

I have tried older versions but none of them seem to work either.

Anyway nice header, well take goal, however they are big danger of relegation.
