No doubt still reeling after the loss of Zidane, Vieira, Makalele etc, it will no doubt come as massive bald boost to French fans everywhere to hear that Lee Carsley has declared his re-availability for international selection, clearing the way for a dramatic comeback at Stade de France on October 9th. The hairless Everton man, fondly referred to as the poor man's Thomas Gravesen (very poor man indeed), had taken a near year-long sabbatical from international duty to focus on establishing himself in the Everton side and having done so, it seems Irish fans everywhere can look forward to egging on the ballsy but brainless battler as he warms up on the sidelines once again...
