What was in Bray for the play-off game? Very disappointed with their crowd, time for a change, time for them to go down, us to go up and everyone, bar Bray, to be happy!

You're forgetting the season ticket holders. They left them out of the final count.

I have it on good authority the 5,000-strong Athlone committee was also there in an observational capacity.

    Excuse me?

    Fair weather?

Never heard of the Thistle before today. I thought you were an Alberts man. Turncoat.

    And it's Termonbarry!

I don't know what Bray's stands hold so it's hard to provide a figure but to give a total guess, somewhere around 1200-1500.

No probs, and please do........................also I meant to say on the two games I was at in Richmond this season, the crowds reported on the night looked to be about right. Zero point in trying to invent extra figures that simply do not exist.

Great crowd and a cracker of a match between two sides who couldn't defend OJ Simpson. Longford were done as they should have had a free before the Bray winner.

2749 in Longford according to RTE, fantastic crowd. Despite the disappointing outcome of the result, it shows the market is out there for Longford to attract a good fanbase.

Yeah we were very shaky but we were really down to the bare bones at the back and it showed. We had Corie Treacy, Willo McDonagh, Des Hope, Brian McCarthy and Willie Tyrell all unavailable or not fully fit. Deans had retired and Rhys Gorman never played centre back before last Monday night.

Same stuff was said about Waterford after their play-off defeat last season. Never made good on it.

Just to put the crowd in perspective it's our biggest home crowd since the league cup final of 2004

I say there was around 1500 at the 1st leg in bray, the tent holds 1000 and I'd say between behind the goal and the dart side there was around 5-600.
Great crowd in longford last night, hopefully they keep going and can help get you up next year, And that was probably brays biggest away crowd since the play off game in Galway a few years ago, shame really.

And how often are extratime right in guessing attendances?? I'm there every week, I'm sure I'd have a better idea then most people.

Extratime way off again. 1,500 was about correct for first game of play off.

Not sure how thay can estimate from the press box in the Carlisle when its enclosed and you can't see the away side of the ground. Fair play to Longford fans as quite a few of them travelled to the first game as well.
