I'm sure it will be just as geographical as the last one.
Hope Limerick can make another good run at this. Two semi's in a row, a final would be nice.

The draw for the First Round of the 2013 EA SPORTS Cup will be made at the FAI National League Executive Committee meeting tomorrow. The draw will be released tomorrow evening following the conclusion of that meeting.
The First Round draw, which will be conducted on a geographical basis, will consist of six ties and ten byes which must include the six clubs that qualified for UEFA club competition and/or the Setanta Sports Cup. These clubs are Cork City, Derry City, Drogheda United, St. Patrick’s Athletic, Shamrock Rovers and Sligo Rovers.
Cockhill Celtic of the Ulster Senior League and the Mayo League have been invited to participate in the competition. The holders are Drogheda United.
I'm sure it will be just as geographical as the last one.

I'm going to stick my neck out and back Derry to have a right lash off this.
Wexford will either get a bye, or will win their first round tie and draw City in the next round. Think its due to be played in Wexford this year.

Athlone/Longford the pick of the ties I suppose.

Abit baffled as to why Salthill are playing in the Dublin group. Would it not be more feasible for Wexford to play there and put Salthill in with the Munster teams?
No, because then Cork City couldn't draw Wexford Youths for the 6th year running in the League cup.
2008 Cork City 0-1 Wexford Youths
2009 Cork City 1-1 Wexford Youths (Wexford on Pens)
2010 Cork City 3-0 Wexford Youths
2011 Wexford Youths 0-1 Cork City
2012 Cork City 5-1 Wexford Youths
We've both received byes to the second round this year so thats a banker draw.
Its 2 hours from dublin to galway now. fairly certain Cork to galway is double that. There's no perfect group but looking at the Northern/western group one of the Galway clubs had to move out of it. So makes sense to put them in one of the 2 dublin/eastern groups
Wexford in the southern group makes a bit of sense to be fair

Na cork to Galway is max 2 and a half hours. 1hr 30 to limerick and then another 50-60 minutes to Galway.
How long would it take from Waterford though.
Surely Harps away to the Mayo League is the tie of the round? Packed house for that one.
