It was tweeted by Tiarnan Mulvena this morning. I don't know where he got it though.

AFAIK, 2nd Round will be an open draw, pool by pool. Each pool now has 4 clubs, so second round winners all go into the Cup quarter-finals, where there will be a full open draw.
2nd Round draw could take place any time soon, now that all 1st Round matches have been played, but not much later than the week after Easter, I suspect!

    Round schedule is as follows:
    MON/TUE 20/21 May – SECOND ROUND
    MON 01 Jul – QUARTER-FINALS
    MON 05 Aug – SEMI-FINALS
    SAT 21 Sep – FINAL

If either side had a decent finisher it would have been about 6-4. I don't recall seeing so many gilt-edged chances spurned in a single game for quite some time.

<looks wistfully into the distance thinking of Seani Maguire> Sigh.

It's almost as bad as us getting Derry. At least this time it's in Finn Park.

Waterford. Lost four in a row last year, maybe Thomond and the lack of Maguire will alter things.

I'll most likely make that Munster derby next month. I've a happy memory of the Kerry League beating Waterford United in a shoot-out on Easter Monday in March '08!

Would have been. Few years back they had Kerry and Mayo leagues included in the LC.

It was the league cup alright. I didn't really see a need for the Kerry League to be entering when Dynamos were in the A Championship but with that gone, I'd have thought the Kerry League team would still enter the league cup. In saying that though, the main reason for the Kerry League team entering was for the competitive game ahead of the Oscar Traynor Cup.
