That's some fantastic footage.
My first ever City game.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Quality stuff all right. Would love to know what the teams were.
The FAI Cup offered some respite with Bray Wanderers, Limerick City and Derry City being overcome as City advanced to the semi-finals. However, all-conquering Shamrock Rovers proved too powerful over two legs, winning 8:3 on aggregate. The return match at the Lodge was the last ever played at the famous old venue.

I have signed in to view the Cork City FC v Derry FC in an FAI cup match at Flower lodge 1986, but I still cannot view the footage ?
Am I doing something wrong ?
I think the nickname 'Slap' was Mick O'Keeffe's Dad's nickname first !!
Anyone know if there were cameras at the 1987 League Cup Final v Rovers? Would love to see footage of that game.
