Seemed like a really down to earth guy. Remember him in fibbers early 00s just drinking with the clientele having the craic.

A very sad loss to Metal.
" I wish to God that someone would be able to block out the voices in my head for five minutes, the voices that scream, over and over again: "Why do they come to me to die?"

Was devastated to hear this last night. One of the first bands I really got into as a teenager. He's had a tough time recently. The driving force behind that band for so many years. RIP

I think he was the more understated one of the band, especially guitar wise, everyone had king as the legend, but it was he who wrote most of the better riffs for songs such as the one above.

Oh Christ, I do hate Kerry King with a passion. He ruins many good songs with a pointless solo thrown in.

South of Heaven is one of my favourite metal songs ever. I generally skip past the solo or just turn the song off at it. That's how much I despise Kerry King.

When playing a slow enough, crunchy metal song, that just beats your balls into fifteen pieces, the last thing you want is a someone w@nking on a guitar in the middle of it.
