Well I presume everybody associates AM with the early morning, and recognises 12 midnight as the time a new day starts. Therefore it changes from PM to AM at the beginning of a new day. I'm not sure that helps at all

30 days have sept, april, june and november, all the rest have 31 except ....
Easter is the first sunday after the first full moon after the 21st march (I think)

I've often seen, for example, "01:20" pm, postfixed pm that is, written.

I don't know what the big deal is its straight forward, i've also seen 12 pm and 12 am written.

That's obviously an hour and twenty minutes after mid-day, but how would you indicate mid-day itself using "AM" or "PM"?

You stop being so pedantic and say PM. Or you could just say that all but the first split second of the minute of 12.00 is after midday, so strictly speaking it is PM.

'High Noon at Wembley' is closer description of us against them, than 'Midnight at Wembley'.

i usually encounter the same conundrum when writing times down in emails or whatever and i usually end up resorting to "noon"... such a cop out...

    When writing times I resort to the easy and obvious 0000, 0100, 0200, 0300... 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400... 2100, 2200, 2300.

How so many of ye on this normally intelligent board have confused 12AM and 12PM is remarkable.

Poland drew with England, we beat Poland. Clearly we are better than England and, more importantly, Brazil.

Did you require a promotional code? I had a look yesterday but there didn't appear to be any away section tickets available, unless I was doing something wrong...

Edit: Sorry, appears to be working now.

    Don't buy the programme...
    Making amends

The England programme for the home game against the Republic of Ireland in May will feature Chelsea’s Ashley Cole on the front cover. There will be a pitch presentation to Cole to mark his recent 100th appearance against Brazil when, bizarrely, left back rival Leighton Baines was the cover choice.

Is that from a promotional snippet? Why is it bizarre that Baines was his cover choice?
