One of the reasons i started supporting Everton back in the 80's was because a friend of my dads, a toffee, claimed that Everton was traditionally the catholic supported club on Merseyside. Liverpool was traditionally the conservative protestant club. This assertion always made my Liverpool supporting mates very uncomfortable but its true nonetheless and this is a good piece on the history, rivalry and origins of each club.

I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
