    Mervue away

Really really looking forward to this I think it's going to be a superb game as Mervue are at full strength, are a great footballing team and theres a great surface for both teams to play on and if we do get it down and take mervue on it really could be a memorable game. Great to hear we have a full bus going down and hopfully the atmosphere will be similar to our last visit. Overall I'm confident but it will be one hell of a tough game. 4-3 to De Town!

I'm more confident of Waterford doing us a favour than us winning in Mervue. I really hope De Town win well, I have a feeling that Cousin will sit Gorman in front of the back four.
We saw what he could do when he was allowed to roam forward last week, he set up davey with a brilliant defence splitting pass in the first half (should have scored) and that twisting turning he did in the second half was awesome to set up Davey again for his second goal, when most players would have kept going as he was on for a hat trick totally unselfish team player, the team all rushed to congratulate Gorman as much as Davey that was a lovely thing to see, lets hope for some more plays like that team spirit must be great at the moment everything crossed for tomorrow night

Setting yourselves up for a big disappointment if you expect to pick up 3 points easily in Mervue. Probably the toughest ground in the division to get points out of this season.

I have to agree Nigel, but hopefully possibly nick a win, 3 points could end up being huge for us or Mervue, especially if Waterford beat Athlone (which I think they might)
Should be a good game I'm nervous as !!!!

    To put it this way,

Mervue have only lost at home twice this season, once to athlone, once to longford. Pray you make that a double.

Waterford have never lost in Lissywollen.

Not quite as bad as the last time the 2 met in Longford, but nearly, nobody played well, awful performance, a few cameo's but very poor all round, sqeeky bum time now,
must get better results than both Waterford and Mervue now or were stuck in division 1 again

If by some MIRICLE De Town get to the play offs I really hope it's against Waterford instead of Mervue (no disrespect to Waterford intended) but at least it would be 50/50 against them.
I believe after the last 2 games against Mervue that they would get through at our expensive, I hate being so negative but they are far better at using their pace and have more accurate passers of the ball than us, ( even Gorman couldn't string more than a couple of passes together last night)
very down today as I'm sure you all are as well.

I have to agree with fitzpatrick10 there. It is quite a sad state of affairs. Last nights game was one of the most disappointing I have seen in a very long time.

my reaction last night was one of indifference. I am simply so sick of losin at the wrong time of the season that I am not surprised when it happens! We will beat Youths but will lose to Athlone thus handing the momentum to Mervue... We are the instruments of our destructions ourself and we all know who to blame!
