    FAIreland CEO Rooney calls for Shels support

    Football Association of Ireland, Chief Executive Officer, Fran Rooney, has called for a repeat support from Ireland's fans for Shelbourne's UEFA Cup game against Lille on this Thursday night at Lansdowne Road, Kick Off, 7pm.

    The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

    Yeah ... almost straight away !!
    Looks like they'll have enough there to cover costs ... might even be another sellout.

    15,000 tickets sold up to yesterday so it was definitely worth their while moving it to Dublin 4. Otherwise people who wanted to watch the match would have missed it.

    Good to see a big turnout after they played so well against Depor.

    Media facilities in Tolka Park are poor anyway which was another reason
