    Accomodation in Paris

I was wondering if anybody has any advice about where to stay in Paris for the weekend of the France v's Ireland game?? Was thinking of booking something on-line, but haven't got a clue about the best parts to stay in!!

What you need to look at is postcodes.

The city is broken up into 20 different sections or ' arrondissement', each with it's own postcode, 75001 up to 75020.

The heart of the city is 75001 and the numbers spiral out up to 75020 just like a snails shell.

So from 75012 to 75020 you're in an area that on the edge of Paris

75007 to 75011 are in the middle while 75001 to 75006 is the centre.

In saying that, there are areas that are cooler than others. 75007 is dead, 75008 is posh, 75001 is hetic, 75011 is 'happening' !

So don't worry too much about where you are

and 75018...any idea what that's like....we're staying in the Kyriad XVIII. I think it's near the Latin Quarter but am not sure.
