I'm with you Praha! I also thought that Sean Thornton was going to be a superstar among many, many others! I have kept have an eye on O'Toole's progress and injury seems to be the big issue and it has certainly affected his ability to play regularly.

Well, other than Carroll, there's one thing that may of the transfers have in common; very little seem to see a player making a move upward in the league standings. Most movement appears to be lateral or downward.

For what it,s worth I played with his father, Stephen. Best talent I ever saw in Ireland and streets ahead ahead of many of the lads who've headed across the water in recent years. He died tragically a few years ago.

He was later selected by the IFA for various under-age squads: http://www.irishfa.com/international.../ryan-brobbel/

I'm not sure if he ever played competitively for us - I don't think he did - so neither am I certain as to whether he has formally or officially effected any switch.
