personally,i dont care about other peoples spelling ,though i do notice a few howlers every now and then.
i think there are a lot of mildly dyslexic (spelling ? ) people out there.

i just accept it as a fact of life.

Surely it would be because it's a noun. If you had used a small 'a' in Adam in the middle of your sentence, that would be wrong too. Nothing to do with a new sentence.

It's lucky Max Power isn't around, he gets upset if you point out that his spelling or grammar may be a little off..he reckons you shouldn't mock disabilities..

Have to say the amount of people who misspell my name is baffling sometimes!
On this forum people can clearly see the correct spelling but persist in changing it from Peadar to Peader.
I think it's quite rude actually.
It isn't, however, exclusive to members of this forum.
My bank suddenly decided that they knew better than I and changed the a to an e on my account details. I asked them to change it and they said that I would have to make a formal request in writing. The tosser in my own branch told me he couldn't change it without the letter. When I showed him the ATM card they originally issued me with the correct spelling and asked him to explain how it had suddenly changed on the system he said it wasn't possible and that I must have changed it. I wrote to my credit card company asking them to correct the mistake and they rang to tell me how sorry they were and that they would issue a new card. The card arrived but surprise surprise the mistake was still present.
I'm all for giving people with disabilities a chance but if someone can't transcribe information from an application form into their organisations computer system then they shouldn't be in administration roles.

Jeeze, lads, if we can't have a forum here without spellchecking everything, we've lost the plot. Let's all bring our dictionaries to France and have a round table discussion after the match about this....if we can speak the words correctly after 15 pints....

What bank are you with ?? .... Man, if they are doing that to your name, just imagine what they are doing with your hard earned money, the sticky-fingered bsatards will probably suggest that you set up all these offshore accounts next !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
