Scored for Forest against Porto B today. Not sure if he was still playing at full back.
If Forest can win their last 2 games they have a real decent chance of making the play-offs.
It's not completely in their hand but the other contenders would struggle to do what is required to
overtake them. Promotion is still a long shot though according to the bookies, 16-1.
Looked at the Forest forum and the consensus was he didn't do too much apart from the assist, but
he did get some credit for his defensive work and of course he was a part of a winning team,
a welcome sight at Forest these days, so a promising debut.

Started for Forest v Spurs in the cup.
Off to Notts County on a month's loan.

Derry states that McLaughlin is in Forrest's long-term plans. I would hope that this is simply to get him more games under his belt so that he comes back with more confidence and intensity than he could attain from cup/sub appearances. Hopefully, it's just the month and Psycho hears enough positive feedback to give him a shot.
Popped up with an assist from his first start for Notts County.
And his first goal for Notts County, equalising in the John Stones Paint Trophy after Paddy Madden had given Scunthorpe the lead.
Ronan Murray popped up with the second for County. McLaughlin got an assist at the weekend for County so he's made an instant impression. Augurs well for his return to Forrest.
Two lads from the West there getting those goals; McLaughlin from Donegal and Murray from Mayo.
Murray would love McLaughlin to have his loan extended, describes him as 'a breath of fresh air'.

McLaughlin finds himself in an unusual predicament.
It annoys me just how many people think he started at Derry and came through their youth system.

Starts today.
Played the full 90 at left back. Absolutely wasted in that area of the field.

Badly at fault for the Millwall winner, a carless header back that Fuller intercepted. Stuart Pearce has been sacked as well.
Joined Southend on loan.
Wanted by Southend on permanent basis.
