Just when he was breaking out "the worm" and all...

The only thing I can think of is that it looks like he may have been celebrating in front of opposition fans, taunting them...in which case he may have deserved something or maybe the celebration itself (shooting funs?) referenced something controversial??

Either way, it's pretty funny!

Lovely old google machine. Makes sense, but as far as I'm aware, once a card is awarded in a match, it can't be rescinded.

is winter still a referee? havent heard of him since last years cup final. felt sorry for him really.. excelent ref but 1 bad call on the day.. possibly happens in every televised cup final (howard webb in world cup final? worst performance since television was invenrted.)
