What happens block bookers after Lansdowne closes?

Will block bookers still get an allocation once Lansdowne closes?
If there is an allocation at our new "home" venue in Britain and dont take it up, will you lose your allocation for the new Lansdowne when we are reinstated in Lansdowne Rd?
Who is this guy, Trapper Tony?

I'd imagine the tickets for the temporary "home" ground will as they are for the home games or if the venue is in Britain they'll be similar to those for away games.
Once the new ground opens I'd imagine the FAI will try to sell 10 year tickets with Block Bookers getting first refusal. As they did with eircom Park.

I'm only on the block booking waiting list but received an offer from the FAI for a ten year ticket today, 7500Euro is a big ask though. Anyone else get this in the post this morning?

Yep, I got one in the post today.

It's just a standard 10 year ticket for the east stand. Still can't see how the price can be so high.

Even if we managed 10 home games a year, as opposed to the 5/6 we have at the moment, that's still €75 per game.
Very expensive considering the FAI don't have to cover the too much of the cost of the new ground.

Agree re the price being too dear.

One thing to consider though is the previous holders got first call on Away tickets incl tickets for the major finals. Away tickets are normally ok but if we get to Germany tickets will be impossible.

I assume block bookers will be offered seats in the new Lansdowne but maybe just get offered 10 year tickets - nobody knows yet.

People who buy a ticket for every home game are really valuable to the F.A.I.

Yeah I got that letter aswell. €7500 is far too big an ask. Don't see the point in paying €7500 when it is certainly cheaper to stay of the block booking list and get your tickets game by game

No point if you are a block booker.

10 years ago it allowed people to get tickets as the block bookings closed after Latvia home Sept 92 and didn't open again until 96.

10 year ticket holders also got first call on away tickets and tickets for major finals. I don't recall exactly when these went on sale in 1994 biut they may have included a guarantee of tickets for the 94 WC finals. These were very difficult to get in advance although readily available for all games in the U.S.
