I don't want to name names just out of respect to other clubs and all that bull... But 1 has signed with Rovers, 1 with Sligo, 1 with Cork and 1 with Dundalk. Out of the few I heard he had spoken to, they'd have improved the squad. 2 were high profile.
I know the one that signed for Cork and we may have dodged a bullet with that one from what i hear.
We need new manager to have contacts in England i would if we were to really improve.
Any of those would add nicely to our squad once we can tie down a few more of last years players. Gartland and Gavin Kavanagh especially.
Delighted to have someone in place. Hopefully we can get some names on the dotted line and push on.

Was that why they were in Annacotty this morning? I drove past and both of them were kitted out in Limerick gear on the astro with no players or anyone else around. Thought they might have been coaching Aisling Annacotty or something. Any one any word on it?
I'm just going by the fact i've asked one of them is it true after i seen it on here and he said it was the first he heard of it.
Tommy is involved with the academies and that so may well have seen him out there for that. I cant see why Mike would be out there even if he was manager now the players are not back til Jan.
I did have a few drinks last night, but I'm almost sure it was Kerley. I could be mistaken and maybe they were only there for Annacotty or for the academy like you said.
If it was them, and they're manager and assistant, then I imagine a team full of Limerick junior players will be fighting for relegation next year.
There was a lot of talk that Kerley would be in as assistant to Kilbane so it could be something to do with that if it was him.
Apparently anyway the manager has been appointed and its just waiting to be announced so we should know soon.

After reading here Kerley out with tommy makes sense. As the supposed assistant manager surely what Kerley would want is to meet up with Tommy as soon as and see what the story with the 19's is etc... And that is what he is doing. Tommy was with Kerley above in Athlone so they obviously have a close enough relationship.
A lot of people I have talked to seem to be delighted if Kerley is assistant and Kilbane or someone else as manager.
Was told about week before Christmas from someone living out my way when I posted saying there was more to the Kilbane story than just a rumour that Kilbane was the one. It was apparently conformed by one of the coaches to him.
Mike Kerley holds a Pro Licence so that would be helpful when it comes to licensing requirements.
