When will the new manager be appointed.
Everything should be done to keep lads like Shane our most consistent player for a few seasons in a row now.
When will the new manager be appointed.
Seems like a lack of even rumors now. I'm guessing this won't be sorted before the New Year.

They would want to get their act together and fairly lively or we will be left with no team and only scraps letf to buy as all top players will be taken by other teams, maybe its a job too big for our backroom team but sort it asap.

I am a bit surprised that Limerick would want Mick Cooke, when I think Callaghan and Russell are much more impressive if the club is going to recruit a current premier LOI manager. It would be a big shock if Shane Tracy was let go, however with news emerging that 1k a week player contracts are back in fashion the premier divison could become a very scary place next year.
Callaghan is a spoofer who's day willl come imo.
The circus in Tallaght papered over a lot of cracks for him.
Looking at it from the outside they didn't really beat anyone they weren't supposed to (other than the circus) they were bounced out of the cup at home to the worst Dundalk team of all time and they were an absolute shame faced disgrace in Europe.
Russell has a pudding of a job and zero expectation I'd be going nowhere if I was him.
If the news is true Limerick will be missing out on a lot of playersIt would be a big shock if Shane Tracy was let go, however with news emerging that 1k a week player contracts are back in fashion the premier divison could become a very scary place next year.

Just Bray and UCD then.
It's dragging our alright but I wouldn't say farce. Over the years we have started the season with a manager two weeks before kick off and at one stage a month into the season. A lot of other teams have also been caught late. We still have 2 full months to kick of of the season. That should give any manager plenty of time.
It's fine having that long, but I'd wonder if people at the club realise how big of a step up the Premier is in terms of physicality. The last thing you want is starting the season with half a pre season behind you. Even if they don't have a manager yet, start signing some of the players at least and get them in to the gym.
I see that Sky Sports News were down from the north doing a story on Limerick to be broadcast soon, so the hype is building, should the club be targeting 8-10k for first game of the season. The publicity from sky might attract more interest from Britian so maybe the club should hold off picking a manager for another while.
Every single LOI club should be aiming for 8-10k for games but they will never ever get them unfortunately. 3-4k for first home game would be amazing but even that could be too much of a stretch.
The wait for a manager is dragging on as it is i see no benefits to waiting anyone that wants it will be in for it already imo.
