    The LOI made the late late show tonight and have contributed 9 players to latest Ireland squad.

    The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

    Thought it was a bit cringe that Tubridy didn't seem to have a clue who Raf Cretaro was..."your dad's Italian is he?" - he couldn't even address him on first name terms.

    Not just knocking for the sake of it though, it was good to see LOI shirts on national telly for any reason.

    It was quite funny to see the army,navy,gardai etc marching off in unison and the Sligo lads in their midst ambling off.

    It could have been for the benefit of the viewers. Unfortunately it's a sad fact that 99% of them won't know what a Cretaro is or does.
