Might have looked like a dive from refs angle but ya,
A penalty if ever I saw one,
Blarney street will take that bit of good fortune
They deserved the draw at least

to be fair when you go to killumney you need a plan ours worked and we were well worth the point hard work and lads stood up well.coachfords were smiling but it will be the same when we go down there with extra il short change no manager.

Should have won?? Ye just about barely deserved a draw Killumney missed 3 sitters and a stone wall pen not given, but good battling from Blarney St and as I said they just about deserved a draw....... Barely!!

the street battled but lets be honest we had a chance or 2 as well and when a team shows the fight they did it was earned .killumney are a fab team and they put us to the sword at times but we played some nice football as well.peno was the bit of luck we needed but to dramatic in going down and lookd like a dive i was in front of it we got lucky.

We might see our top 2 leagues go all the way to the last day which would be brillant...talking to a coachford player last night and he said springfield were poor but coachfords squad very strong and 1 r 2 players were ****ed off they didnt get a run...
they will be a twist there buddy carrig big slip up today in 3a.

    Hi Guys,

Back of the Net hasn't gone away.

Our brand new website is currently under construction and should be ready in approximately two weeks.

The new website will again be dedicated to all levels of football in Cork from the Cork Schoolboy's League all the way through to Cork City and the League of Ireland.

Features will include interviews with those who are associated with football in Cork, match reports, a result service, pictures and video recorded after-match interviews and so much more.

A Sky Sports type live rolling ticker will also be a highlight and will bring you all the latest news and results from around the grounds.

Suggestions and ideas are welcome from everybody for this very ambitious project which will transform how football in Cork is featured on the internet.

Other features to look for will be a weekly poll, our columnists, a betting advice page and some fantastic competitions.

For more information contact 087 2201145 or email editor@backofthenetcork.ie

Ya big disappointment for Carrigtwohill B today, we would have hoped to capitalise on Leeview/Knocknaheeny draw, agreed though that the Glen won't be caught now. Still a great battle in store for 2nd between Carrig, Knocknaheeeny, Evergreen, Leeview and Boscos after their last 2 results.

I think its between leeview and carrig....i really fancied knocka at the start of the year but players left and the glen werebankers after that...they are good team and they will climb the leagues over thenext few years...

Park still not out of the race to retain their title . Prem is looking a lot tighter . Still a lot of games to play and too early to pick a winner , even thou we all have our fav's . Any idea on who is leading golden boot at the moment ? They used have it on the Echo before each week but doesn't seem to be on it anymore . My money's on Jeffer's .

The league is over....they have to beat a very fit and well organised newmarket in the final....saw them play at the start of the season and they looked good....banker 1 r 2 reds.....i saw the glen play a few weeks ago and I noticed they had some players who were playing with their first team last year....they play nice football so this should be a cracker......but I wouldnt be shocked if the glen didnt win tho

Well killumneys result against blarney street was a shock but credit to blarney street.....your right about it not being over still a lot of football left to play but if killumney want to win the league they really need to be beating the likes of blarney street in fairness....park could creep back up alright but I dont think they will win it...top score must be baby zico or jeffers as coachford are scoring for fun and thry will probably continue scoring with the firepower they have going forward....
