For years Innishvilla never had a youth's system at the club . But in the last 5 years they've have put huge effort time and money into devoloping their club as a whole (not just their 1st team ) . And it has paid off the club had never played above the 1st div in it's history until now they have got out of cork in fai last 2 years running. If anyone has played Innish they will see team is backboned by some talanted youth players . Now that they have system in place you can be sure that they'll only get stronger . They have right people in place at all levels in club from Chairman right down to groundsman . Kids are getting coached at an early age and getting the right coaching by quailified coachs . Innishvilla is prime example of a good run club in my eyes of course I do live in Innishannon so I'm a bit baised I guess

Not a bit biased oldlegs in that post.
Without doubt they are one of if not the best structerd clubs in the Aul..They are climbing the leagues nicely...I watched them play glenvale few years back in a league decider and knew they were on the up. Fair play to them for all their hard work..Its only upwards their going...There are clubs in the city who also put in the work but they dont have the advantage of having not much clubs around them like Inishvilla do....Kinsale were the same for years they had a good selection of players to bring in....but they worked hard also and thats why they were a sucess and won so much and I think Inishvilla will be in the same situation in good time.

Did you not think the team hit the glass ceiling? You know me personally Littleman, i'm not one for pointing the finger or anything, i ave great respect for you and I have previously thanked you in a post for what you did for me. What i meant by that post was the club needed something new, and the 3/4 managers after which includes me wasn't right for the club.

We are all about football opinions in here aren't we!

And what do you mean by "that just about sums ya up mate"?

I never intended to post on this subject but i have no intention of reading your posts an seeing you slate the work that was put in by my players at the time an have it used as an excuse for what happened.

It was no more for a football reason than it was the fool who jumped from space, it wasnt a commitee decision, some never even knew till it was done, il keep it dignified by letting it go as a clash of personalities .

That's fair enough(Let's keep it in house). I can see the club winning the premier within the next 5 years and I think every club needs an eye opener from time to time to realise what you've had.

The pitch in Murphys Farm that we used last week wasnt playable before the game!!

Could be fixture mix up too with Kilreen because we played both on the same pitch
Just remember, every kick makes me stronger and more determined. Indians always come back!

Looks like a fine fresh day hopefully games will start getting played . Best of luck to all teams and hopefully at end of today the groundsman around Cork won't be pulling their hair out.

Grattan are using Kilreens pitch this month and the AUL in their wisdom put fixtures for both Grattan and Kilreen on at the same time! Presume Kilreen have priority on their pitch!
