Yes 1for there was a shock alright , shocked at how poor pike are ... All the big hype about a savage display of football to come from the pike team ?? All i saw was a load of horse kicking and bitching to the ref ... And a very poor display of refereeing , john Corcoran sent off for taking a punch in the chest?? Don't make sense at that level... Still an all ill take nothing away from the coachford lads excellent movement and had pike against the wall for the game and extra time ... Beaten on penalties .. A modest way to leave the cup .
Another tough day at the office...............on the same pitch as last week. If I never see the far goal on that pitch again, it will be too soon. Peno miss last year, game changing offside equaliser last week. Today, unfortunately started in the same vein. An opener after 8 minutes, where the player was a full body lenght off. If decisions even themselves out, we must be due a hatrick of "miles off" goals!! Into the same goal as last week!! I bit my lip so hard, I have teeth marks on it!!
Fair play to our guys for taking another setback like that, and carrying on in the right spirit.
Kilreen are a class outfit - fast quick technical players. So, when going to face them down 6 bodies and our fourth choice in goal - the last thing you need is an early setback like that! They were well on top then but 3-1 at half time was fair on a pitch made for the egg chasers not the beautiful game! They added a fourth late on.
Our game can be very cruel - I might change hobbies and take up knitting! There is needle danger, but I will get safety goggles.
The ref pulled our manager before the game about our discipline. I presume he had heard about last week from the ref then. Our discipline was below acceptable last week, and our fines will show that. I know Im like a broken record, but, the performance of the paid official was below acceptable last week too. Who do I tell? How will he change? Does the guy who gets paid get fined? Im pretty sure he doesnt. Does that sound like a fair system to you?

Im here liamsean 4 4 today for us i believe i cant give u any today as i wasnt there as im with my new arrival but dont worry ill be back playing next week and ill have loads for you
lol thats what i love about footie every so often we get to slag off half ireland then when we get knocked out of everything at least we have each other in cork to slag off.

yes no9 i enjoyed it thought coachford had a right go at it credit to them but you know with pens anything can happen pike got out of jail good side .

is that 3 competitions coachford have gone out on spotters this season? fair play to them for busting a few dockets today and on a good run in the cup..
