Smashing goal
Full times:
Shamrock 1-1 Cork City
Drogs 2-0 Sligo
very happy with that result tonight.. thought we werent gona get any luck when their goal went in but what a goal by kavanagh.. will downings prediction for a full house on monday might be a bit off but hoping for a good crowd nonetheless.. confident of getting through now
A city/county the size of Cork should be getting far more support than they have been. Shocked by Sligo's loss. Had they made many changes from the weekend?

A Championship: 4 years - 8 first teams - 0 financially ruined. First Division '14: 7 first teams.
Opportunity lost for new clubs/regions to join the LoI family.

I wouldn't be shocked by our defeat. 4 changes were made but we haven't really played that well this season. The next 4 league games will tell a lot about us. Pats, Drogs, Shams and Derry. It could be a much tighter league table after those.
Setanta showing the second leg of city vs rovers ko 7.30 on monday.. great to have the away goal but we definetley dont want to let rovers get one.. we will have a few players back so im optimistic that we can progress.. is tallaght the likely venue for the final?
Sligo are out !! ??
*facepalm*
What rag is that?
Looks like the Herald? Dunno if that's up in Dundalk though.
Yeah it's The Herald alright.
A "spectacular start" with a goal after 24 minutes as well...

Big game tonight.. After the first leg i was confident enough but after what happened friday lets hope the players confidence hasnt been badly affected.. should be a great game and hopefully a good crowd comes out for it, sun is shining so no excuses for there not to be a good crowd.. come on city says in the paper today that should we get through and play sligo the final would be in galway(terryland i presume) or if its drogheda then its likely to be the RSC, duno if thats true or not but just what it said
It would be magnificent if they put the final in Drom. After all it's clearly up to league standard, so why not

I can't see it being a neutral ground for the final, regardless of who is there because crowds have been so poor in the competition. More likely a toss of the coin for home advantage IMO.
