Do tickets for the tournament (not qualifiers) all go out out on general sale or does the FAI get an allocation which they give to clubs etc.?
Anyone know the dates they come out?

I hope they do the follow your team thing they did for the Euros for tickets, that seemed like a great idea.

Yep I agree - I had a follow my team during last W Cup - so I'll be signing up for another one this time (fingers crossed)

Usually 2 options

a) Follow Your team option. Basically you apply and if successful you are guaranteed a ticket for any match your team plays right up to the final

The Ireland tickets were well over subscribed for the last WC and Euros, so this will go down to a ballot.

b) Purchase tickets for specific games. As the dates of matches and venues will be set well in advance of knowing who will be playing where (or even who has qualified). A complete lottery in terms of which teams you'll end up watching, but good if have specific dates for your holidays or if you know you want final or semi final tickets, or if you are going to a particular city and just want to see matches there.

From memory applications will probably be July/Aug next yearish??? However keep an eye on the fifa website for details.
