I'm sure if a player like Darren Murphy comes along there's always room!!
Ya but its a long season and you need strenght and depth, plus it he wants to use the 451 option then Darren is the perfect holding midfielder
Supposedly Derry have finally signed Griffin?!:
from the airtricity league banter page facebook.Transfer News: the longest transfer saga in the LOI this close season has finally come to an end as Derry hve finally completed the signing of Mark Griffin; still no news on whether Derry hve agreed a compensation package with Dundalk or if they're going to a tribunal.....jp/Derry
Midfield is probably the one place we don't need an addition but I guess if true Tommy feels it's not worth turning down Murphy. It's certainly our strongest position though.
i believe buckley has signed a deal just not confirmed yet..healy duggan and morrissey were excellent the other night .duggan needs to be better than last year were he was terrible...the big bonus for cork will be dan murray the man is fitter than 5 years ago looks class act again and in shape.goalkeeper will be the death of cork....
Why not? Where's bucks going?
Surely a year or two of premier football would stand him in good stead for a move across the water!

Anthony Elding not signing for anyone in the LOI now.
After all the bull**** coming out of the Brandywell over the last 8 weeks.......
I wish Griffin the very best of luck. He could go in one of two directions - sensational and attract a cross-channel move (attitude of 2011), or could bomb out completely (attitude of 2012)"Derry City Chairman Philip O'Doherty refused to confirm whether the two clubs had reached agreement on compensation or if the case will be taken to tribunal"
