Yeah....I know!!I spent the last 10 minutes trying to get it confirmed, but to no avail. Then it dawned on me that they have a crappy little junior team on craggy island called Cobh Wanderers, and I presume this must be the aforementioned wanderers.
Now, lets not try to laugh too hard...a victory against your local inbred farm boys is not to be taken lightly....Queenstown are on their way back as a driving force in the most southernly tip of Irish soccer..
Wanderers are a M.S.L. team, not as strong as they used to be because their senior team dropped out last year for a season, back now though. Local derby's are always hard fought between the two. While they are no world beaters, they are no mugs either.....about Limericks standard really
wanderers would have no trouble thumping limerick around the pitch!!
ye might beat us at soccer, but I'll take bets that no-one from Cobh 'thumps' us around the pitch....
don't worry we could do that too if we really wanted ta!
