U21 game vs Portugal on Monday 25/3, Tallaght at 7.30pm

Sorry if there's already a thread on this. I don't recall seeing one.

    http://www.fai.ie/international/unde...-portugal.html

Things you don't often hear an Irish football manager say: "after our last two victories over Holland and Italy we will go into the game with a lot of confidence".

Anyone know if a senior season ticket works for this? If not I presume cash on the night is OK.

I was going to go to Antonio Mantero's "Future of Youth Development in Ireland" debate on Monday in Blancahrdstown, but have decided to go to this instead. I won't get another chance to get to see this crop in action for a while.

This match has been moved to Oriel Park Dundalk due to waterlogged pitch in Tallaght.

    http://orielupdates.com/2013/03/22/i...to-oriel-park/

The FAI on Friday afternoon confirmed that Monday’s U21 friendly international between the Republic of Ireland and Portugal has been moved to Oriel Park (kick-off 7.30pm)The decision was made as a precautionary measure. Due to the inclement weather, the pitch at Tallaght Stadium was unable to host a game as planned between Drogheda United and Turkish side Trabzonspor on Thursday night and is unlikely to be ready for Monday’s international.
Former Dundalk and current Bradford City defender Carl McHugh, who spent the second half of the 2011 season under Ian Foster at Oriel Park, making 16 appearances, is in Noel King’s squad.
The only home-based player is Saint Patrick’s Athletic’s Chris Forrester.

Entry prices are €10 for adults, €5 for children. There will be free entry to the game for patrons with a ticket for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier between the Republic of Ireland and Austria at the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday night plus FAI Vantage Club and FAI Season Ticket holders.

I hear that Rovers had a visit from the pitch insurance firm? Major doubts that they're going to insure yous anymore.... Lolz.

You need to stay off those Bohs boards, Stu. Rovers don't operate the stadium so they'd hardly be responsible for insuring the pitch. If there are issues regarding player insurance, I'm sure they'll be ironed out easily enough.

well, they were instructed to warm up and then when they were ready they would have walked to the halfway line and the 4th official would have indicated that some of these players, or substitutes, would be coming on for the Ireland team. When play next stopped the referee would instruct the players that the changes could be made and that is how some of our up and comers got on.
