Haven't seen this posted anywhere else ... and I know two of the rules of discussions on this board is thou shalt not mention saipan or Paris ..
but .. although it was not a World Cup place at stake ..Klose puts Henry to shame. Great to see.

I wonder is there something in the Refs asking a player directly about certain decisions.
Say Wellbeck for example v Wigan goes into the box takes a blatant dive doesnt get touched and gets a penalty.
Now if the ref goes to Wellbeck and says Im not sure about that is it a penalty,
Wellbeck or whoever then has a probelm. He says ye gets the penalty or no and doesnt.
Now if he says yes and gets the penalty fair enough. But the ref goes home and see's it on television and knows hes been conned. Now the next time United are playing Wellbeck or another player goes down legitmately ref says no penalty and Ferguson goes mental.
Well the ref can say 1. He didnt think it was a penalty 2 Wellbeck dived the last time 3 When asked he didnt admit to it.4 When deciding if it was pen or not the fact that he dived the last time made me think he might be doing it again.
Now the managers are aware that the refs decisons are being infleunces by past actions.
I know this already happens in reality, but it might curb some of the blatant cheating when players know they risk only getting a yellow card, they might think being honest will be more beneficial for future decisions.

Bohs are going bust.
He should have had a penalty there.
Actually yeah, defenders arms are wrapped around him.

On another viewing, Klose might be pushing the defender too. Shrug.
