I think a lot of it is down to the fact that it's a fans owned club now and some of what is being posted on the forum is bordering liable stuff. Something along those lines anyway.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
I don't know about that, but it does take a lot of time and effort to run and as AFace has said, the Admin has been at it 9 years. Time for him to move on and devote his time elsewhere.
I don't think foot.ie will benefit much however. I think most members of ccfcforum.com would rather set up a new forum than come back here.
Most of them are still banned anyway.
