Limerick should of been 4 or 5 up at half time missed sitters hit the bar they eased off 2nd half Clare were very poor.
ya good first half from limerick ,not great in the second half though they did not have to be as clare not up to much.clare keeper quite good made 2 great saves in first half and limerick did miss some very easy chances while playing some good stuff. cant remember clare having a shot bar one in the second half which neville saved, thought limerick very scrappy in the second half.

Sums it up about right.limerick never looked in any danger in fairness.

    AUL(Dublin) 6-0 AMATEUR LEAGUE(Dublin)

    Scorers for AUL

    A Murphy(Sheriff YC)
    A McCabe(Sheriff YC)
    Sean Beresford(Kilbarrack Utd)(3)
    OG

A handy enough win for the AUL with the highlight being our Sean Beresford scoring a hat trick on his debut as the AUL totally outclassed a poor Amaateur League team up in Fraank Cooke Park.

Truth is bitter isint it,they shouldn't be in the competition anyway after not bothering to turn up last year,if it was any other league I'm sure there would have been repurcussions, don't you??why enter the comp in the first place, but then again everyone knows who rules the roost down there don't we.if you don't like the posts don't read them, simple as.

It was a decision of the TSDL management team not to fufil a OT fixture last year. It was nothing to do with a team 'not bothering to turn up' or local clubs releasing players. Rather than bore us with your copious rants about the issue why don't just drop a line to the TSDL and tell them how upset you are about it. I notice the TSDL thread has quietened a lot these days and I think a lot of it could be down to your interventions.

Awwwww, they gave walkover because the elite were playing FAI the following week, should have fulfilled fixture without them, every other league who had teams competing didnt give walkovers including limerick who also were playing FAI following week, you can dress it up all you like but the facts are TSDL gave a walkover, end of.

amazing assessment there of the AUL given your previous opinion that they were an ..average league...when they beat limerick league 2 seasons back.your are correct on the TSDL no walkover should be given in any fai competition...your consistent reference to it though is getting tedious and is obviously based on your anti st.micheals fixation.

Couldn't care less about st michaels,it's the TSDL were talking about, and as for your comment about me saying AUL were average 2 years ago,I wasn't even on this then,so come out of the fog.AUL are going for 3 in a row,I know that much haha.

read my post hotspur, never said anything about you being on this 2 years ago,you said last year sometime that limerick were beaten by an average AUL side[the final was 2years ago],that fog you are in has clouded your memory.the AUL are always among the favourites, always a very strong league.

Read my post,I said they were going for 3 in a row, never said they were average pal,and they are always favourites, and the day they beat limerick they were not great and that is a fact, limerick should have won that day,

Carlow beat UCFL 4-1. Hugely disappointing result for UCFL.
